Sunitha's Success

By vincent paul | Director

Hi,

Sunitha, She is aged 30 from a poor family. Her family situation compelled her to stop education af  9th grade.

She was then looking after her small brother and sister since her parents go for agricultural field work as laborers. When her parents are at home in lean work days, she used to rear the buffalo.

When she was 22, she got married. Her husband is an uneducated. At the age of 29, she became a mother of two kids. Since her husband with meager income, she was unable to run the family She decided to help her family by going to work. But she do not know anything except rearing buffaloes.

Because of her Family poor condition and sickness, She decided to go and working in a Embroidery unit run by a private owner, But she do not know how to do embroidery. She came to about our embroidery training and asked us to help for the training. she got three months training.

Now to day she is able to start a small embroidery unit. she bring saris form main shops, doing embroidery work and returning it to the shops. No mediators are involved and she gets the full benefit of the work. Now today  she is able to send her children to school without any difficulties, Buy  medicines for her family and look after her family without any difficulty.. This will not be possible without the support of you.

Trainings are great opportunities for our women and girls to further develop their marketable skills and therefore a little step towards self independence.

Thank you very much to all the donors who have supported us for rural women.
