With the continued support of our donors, Moqah Foundation successfully implemented the third batch of vocational training for underserved women in a semi-rural community, where opportunities to earn a sustainable income are limited. This program transforms donor investment into practical, market-relevant skills, enabling women to contribute meaningfully to their households and local economies.
The training combined hands-on vocational instruction with essential life skills, including basic financial awareness and confidence-building. Despite juggling household responsibilities and navigating social constraints, the women showed remarkable commitment and resilience. This third cohort highlights the tangible impact of donor partnerships in creating pathways to economic independence and strengthening the long-term well-being of women and their families.
Looking ahead, Moqah Foundation will introduce vocational cooking classes in the coming year to further expand livelihood opportunities. Culinary skills provide flexible, home-based income options that fit around women’s responsibilities in semi-rural settings. With steady local demand for food-related services, these skills can grow into small enterprises such as catering, packaged food production, or community kitchens—opening doors to sustainable earnings and greater economic empowerment.
We are deeply grateful to our donors for making these programs possible. Your continued support is not only helping women gain valuable skills but also transforming lives, families, and communities. Together, we are creating lasting pathways to economic independence, empowering women to realize their potential, and building a foundation for stronger, more resilient communities.
