Nzeve remains committed to fostering leadership within the Deaf community, recognizing that many Deaf individuals still face barriers in accessing information on effective leadership and club management. To address this, Nzeve conducted a leadership training in September for Deaf club leaders from Makwasa, Rusape, Chipinge, Mutambara, and Mutare, with 16 participants attending.
The training aimed to strengthen participants’ skills in report writing, financial budgeting, and understanding fair and transparent election processes. It also emphasized the importance of constitutions, codes of conduct, and clear leadership roles to promote accountability and inclusivity within clubs.
Participants actively engaged in discussions and practical exercises, with many expressing that the training boosted their confidence and changed their perspectives on leadership. Through such initiatives, Nzeve continues to promote advocacy by empowering Deaf individuals to take on leadership roles,an effort made possible through the support of generous donors
