Transforming Lives of 500 Maya Women in Mexico

Thank you for standing with us in our mission to transform the lives of 500 indigenous Maya women and girls in Yucatán.

We are currently in an important phase of renewed fundraising to continue building and strengthening ICDO’s project, a safe and empowering space where Maya women can access education support, training, counseling, and resources to improve their livelihoods and long-term wellbeing.

As you know, Maya women continue to face systemic barriers including limited access to education, economic opportunities, legal support, and digital infrastructure. Many girls are forced to leave school early in order to support their families. Through the Development Hub, we aim to break these cycles by providing practical tools, workshops, mentoring, and psychological support in cooperation with local partners.

In the coming months, our priority is to secure the remaining funding needed to fully activate and expand the Hub’s activities. Sustained support is essential to ensure that Maya women can continue their education, develop entrepreneurial skills, receive counseling when facing violence or discrimination, and strengthen their leadership within their communities.
