The transgender community in Pakistan faces systemic discrimination, social exclusion, and economic marginalization. Despite legal recognition, many transgender persons are denied access to education, healthcare, decent work, and social protection, forcing them into unsafe and undignified livelihoods.
Stigma and discrimination remain the biggest barriers to mainstreaming. Through support received via GlobalGiving crowdfunding, NDF Pakistan launched this project to promote inclusion, dignity, and equal opportunities for transgender persons while advocating for a society that clearly says NO to discrimination.
