Tree Growing to Save the Planet

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for supporting our project. We are focusing on improving farming livelihoods among small-scale farmers by the growing of multiple crops and integrating animals in the farm activities.  The changing climate and weather conditions makes farming difficult but we are making sure that we are implementing climate-smart technologies and approaches. Our strategy is to provide farmers with farming inputs like fertilizer and seeds as well as continuous technical assistance in the field. We also link them with government agencies tasked with helping improve the countryside. This reporting period we are able to reach-out to 24 farmers and their families. Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your support to our project tree growing in order to save the planet. Tree growing remains one of the most viable approaches in order to improve the health of the planet. Aside from health improvement and mitigating climate change tree growing provides food and various other benefits to local people. This reporting period we expand our effort by securing good quality planting materials and providing these to farmers. The lack of good quality planting materials is one of the main problems why tree growing fails and we want to alleviate this situation. We are managing a farm cum demonstration site for our planting materials multiplication effort. Hoping that we will succeed in this and thank you once again for your support.
