Dear Valued Donors,
Thank you for your unwavering support in sustaining the True Colours initiative, a beacon of hope dedicated to preserving Adesewa’s legacy of empowerment and community development. Your contributions have been instrumental in driving impactful programs that uplift young girls and boys in our community. This report highlights our key activities and achievements for the second quarter of 2025.
Program HighlightsBMAN Peace Pledge for Boys Campaign
This quarter, we focused on fostering peaceful coexistence among young girls through the BMAN Peace Pledge for Boys Campaign. This initiative engaged girls in dialogues and activities promoting mutual respect, conflict resolution, and collaboration with their male peers. Through workshops, role-playing sessions, and community forums, participants developed skills to build harmonious relationships and advocate for peace in their schools and neighborhoods.
World Day of the Boy Child Observance (May 16)
In solidarity with global efforts to support boys’ development, we commemorated the World Day of the Boy Child on May 16. Our activities included mentorship sessions and discussion groups aimed at addressing the unique challenges boys face, such as societal pressures and lack of positive role models. By creating safe spaces for expression, we empowered boys to embrace their potential and contribute positively to their communities. This observance also strengthened our commitment to gender equity by ensuring both girls and boys receive holistic support.
Impact and Outcomes
Community Engagement: Reached young individuals ( girls & boys) through targeted programs, fostering a culture of peace and mutual respect.
Skill Development: Equipped participants with conflict resolution, leadership, and communication skills, enhancing their ability to navigate challenges.
Increased Awareness: Amplified the importance of gender-inclusive development, with community leaders and parents expressing enthusiasm for our initiatives.
Looking Ahead
In the next quarter, we plan to expand the BMAN Peace Pledge to include more schools and launch a peer mentorship program to sustain the momentum of our peace-building efforts. We will also introduce creative arts workshops to empower girls and boys to express their experiences and aspirations, further honoring Adesewa’s vision of a vibrant, united community.
A Heartfelt Thank You
None of this would be possible without your generosity. Your donations fuel our mission to keep Adesewa’s legacy alive, transforming lives and building a brighter future for our youth. We invite you to continue this journey with us, ensuring that True Colours remains a source of inspiration and change.
With gratitude
