Dear Valued Donors,
Your belief in our mission to keep Adesewa's vibrant legacy alive is the driving force behind the True Colours Project. Every contribution you make allows us to bring colour, hope, and support to children battling cancer and other life challenges. This quarter has been filled with creativity, healing, and dedicated planning, and we are honoured to share our progress with you. Thank you for standing with us.
Project OverviewThe True Colours Project honours the memory of Adesewa by providing holistic support to young people through three core pillars:
Creative Nurturing Program: A 4-month sanctuary of art therapy and creative expression.
Medical Assistance: Direct support for 100 children and their families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.
Community Awareness: The Annual Color Walk and "Let Your True Colors Shine" Art Exhibition.
1. Creative Nurturing Program in Full Swing
We are thrilled to report that our 4-month creative nurturing program is progressing wonderfully. This quarter, we completed the first two months of the sessions with 18 amazing young participants.
These weekly meetings have become a cherished time for the children, offering them a safe space to express their feelings, find respite from their daily struggles, and connect with peers who understand their journey. Through painting, drawing, and sculpture, they are not just creating art; they are building resilience, finding joy, and letting their true colours shine. The therapeutic impact is visible in their smiles and their inspiring creations.
2. Gearing Up for Our Annual Community Events
Preparations are well underway for our capstone events! Please save the date:
Event: Annual Color Walk & "Let Your True Colors Shine" Exhibition
Date: December 21, 2025
Our team is working tirelessly to organize what promises to be a memorable day of community, awareness, and celebration. The exhibition will proudly feature artworks from Adesewa alongside the beautiful pieces created by the talented teens in our current nurturing program.
3. Ongoing Medical Assistance
Your support continues to provide a critical lifeline to families. We remain committed to our goal of offering medical assistance to 100 children battling cancer, helping to ease the financial burden and allowing families to focus on what matters most: their child's health and well-being.
Looking AheadIn the final quarter of the year, our focus will be on:
Successfully completing the final two months of the Creative Nurturing Program.
Finalizing all preparations for the December 21st Color Walk and Art Exhibition.
Continuing to disburse funds for medical assistance to our beneficiaries.
None of this would be possible without you. You are helping to build a legacy of hope, creativity, and compassion in Adesewa's name. Thank you for your unwavering trust and generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
