Your support means a lot for hospitals in Ukraine!

Dear friends, with this update, we are happy to share that this time, we purchased one instrument table, two utility tables and one glucometer at the total cost of UAH 20,000 (USD 546.92) for Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital #1 at their request.
With 310 registered beds, the medical facility is one of the largest children’s hospitals in the capital. Kyiv City Children’s Clinical Hospital #1 treated around 9000 patients and provided consultations for more than 19500 patients in 2022. The hospital offers a variety of specialised care treatments. To provide effective care, it needs help with vital medical equipment for long-term care as well as medical tools, supplies and furniture for its daily operations. BKC strives to support the facility on a regular basis.
There are many worthy causes around the world that need urgent attention, and we are grateful for your choice to support children’s hospitals in Ukraine, among numerous charitable initiatives. Your support means the world to us!

Thank you for helping children's hospitals!

Dear friends,
We are happy to announce that thanks to your donation, we supported the Newborn Intensive Care Unit of the Kirovohrad Regional Clinical Children's Hospital. BKC purchased a steriliser designed for air sterilisation of surgical instruments and other medical products and a medical suction aspirator. This medical device is ideal in emergency situations to remove bodily fluids from a patient. The total help provided is UAH 20200 (USD 552.39).
The hospital is the region's major healthcare facility. Workers treat about 11,000 patients each year. The facility has 290 beds divided into 120 surgical, 110 somatic care, 40 infectious disease beds, and 20 pediatric care beds for premature and unwell newborns. There are 11 departments in the hospital, including the neonatal intensive care and anesthesiology and intensive care units. This is the only hospital in the region that can provide many specialised care treatments. We attempt to offer the NICU of the Kirovohrad Regional Clinical Children's Hospital sustained, ongoing support. The hospital facility has many immediate and long-term needs, so doctors and nurses can provide newborns with effective and urgent medical care.

Dear friends, we are happy to report that, thanks to your help, we purchased a patient monitor worth UAH 62992.8 (USD 1722.59) for the NICU of the Kirovohrad Regional Clinical Children's Hospital.
The hospital, the region's major healthcare facility, treats about 11000 patients each year. The facility has 290 beds: 120 surgical, 110 somatic care, 40 infectious disease beds, and 20 pediatric beds for premature and sick newborn babies. There are 11 departments in the hospital, including the neonatal intensive care & anesthesiology and intensive care units. Most specialised beds in the region are only available in this hospital.
The war has exacerbated the issues caused by severe underfunding: in Ukraine, hospitals experience an acute shortage of medicines, medical supplies and equipment. We are beyond grateful to you for supporting children's hospitals - your donation helps to save lives!
