Thank You for Supporting Our Brave Children!

By Natalie Blinder | Founder

Dear friends,

Greetings from Bright Kids Charity in Ukraine!

We're happy to share that your generous donation has provided therapy treatments for six children with disabilities, totalling USD 5,127. One of these children is Maria, and we'd like to share a message from her mother:

“I am a single mother of twins. My daughter Maria was diagnosed with autism. Maria spent her first month in intensive care due to neonatal sepsis and CNS damage. As she grew, we realised she was developing with a delay, and at the age of three and a half, she received her autism diagnosis. Up until she was five, Maria didn’t speak at all. Thankfully, with the right treatment, special nutrition, and constant care, she made some progress. Now, at seven years old, she continues to fight her battle. Unfortunately, she still hasn't developed speech. She requires continuous supervision, medication and regular physical therapy treatments.”

BKC helped the mum fund Maria’s therapy course because, as a single parent, she doesn’t have the means to afford the treatments the daughter needs on an ongoing basis. The heartbreak of a parent watching her child suffer and not being able to get the treatment they need is unimaginable. We’re incredibly grateful for your support in helping these children and easing their families' worries. Another mother, whose son benefited from the therapy funded by your contributions this summer, expressed her thanks:

“We are infinitely grateful for the help in completing my son’s physical rehabilitation to all the donors! My son really needed this course after his surgery; it helped him become stronger. We wish everyone peace!”

Thank you for standing by our brave children and for your unwavering support.

Warm regards,

The Bright Kids Charity Team Ukraine
