Report Phase 2
We hope this message finds you in good spirits. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your generous support of our humanitarian project, "Urgent Appeal for Assistance to Flooding in Yemen". Your contributions have made a remarkable difference in the lives of over 34,000 families affected by the heavy rains and flash floods that occurred in August. Thank you for standing with us during this critical time.
Dear Generous Donors,
As you may know, the exceptionally heavy seasonal rains have devastated various regions, particularly Al Hodeidah, Hajjah, Sa’ada, and Taiz. In the first phase of our project, the Support Yemeni Society Organization's Team successfully distributed emergency shelter assistance to the most severely impacted areas in Al Hodeidah. This included 100 food packages, clean water, and 100 shelter kits containing essential items like blankets, bedding, and sheets.
We are now excited to share that we have entered the second phase of the project. In this phase, we have expanded our efforts to provide emergency relief to an additional 100 displaced families in AlHodeidah Governorate. This relief includes ready-to-eat food rations, hygiene items, women's sanitary products, non-food items (NFIs), and essential household objects.
