Urgent Appeal for Emergency Protection in Uganda

Challenge

Imagine eight gay men from our community forced to run for their safety, this is the harsh reality in rural areas. This project will provide urgent protection, relocation, and access to medical and legal support, tackling immediate threats to their safety and defending their human rights.

Solution

Providing immediate support and protection to those at risk. By offering safe relocation, medical care, and legal assistance, it ensures their safety and addresses urgent human rights violations. If we provide safe shelter, more members will have the opportunity to make a positive impact and restore hope within the community.

Long-Term Impact

we provide assistance and information about safety, security, and equal human rights for the LGBTIQ+ community in Uganda. We continue the fight against laws that criminalize homosexuality.
