Project Report | Mar 15, 2025
Gaza Without Water

By muhammed deebeh | project leader

Dear Donor,

It has been a year, five months, and five days since the siege of Gaza, in a harsh humanitarian reality that words cannot fully describe. The siege has left its mark on everything, even on the most basic human rights, such as water. Clean drinking water has become a luxury that is difficult to access, and its price has soared beyond the reach of most families who can no longer afford it.

Iman, the little girl we met in the northern Rimal neighborhood, is one of the faces that embody this harsh reality. Iman told us in a soft, saddened voice: "I haven’t been able to drink water for a whole day." Her words encapsulate the suffering of thousands of children in Gaza who dream of just a sip of clean water—just a simple right that should be theirs. Iman, like many other children, dreamed of sleeping peacefully after drinking clean water, but that right was out of reach, like a distant dream in a world that doesn’t seem to care.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to deliver clean drinking water to Iman and her family, along with many other children in this neighborhood that lacks even the most basic necessities. The water we provided to Iman wasn’t just a liquid; it was hope, it was the strength that helped them face another tough day. Clean water was a message from you to them saying: "You are not alone in this suffering."

The importance of this assistance in the lives of these children cannot be measured in words.
The water they received was not just a means to survive; it was a part of our shared humanity that we must hold onto. It was hope for a better tomorrow. Iman and the children of Gaza need this hope, and they need to continue receiving this support that gives them a chance to stay healthy. Thanks to your donations, Iman can now sleep peacefully after drinking clean water, no longer worrying about where her next drink will come from or if it will be safe.

But this support cannot stop here.
The continuity of this project means that these children will no longer face the daily struggle to find clean water. They will continue to live healthier lives, free from the diseases that often result from contaminated water. Continuing the support means that thousands of children in Gaza will have their basic right to clean drinking water, allowing them to live with dignity and health.

The results of this support go beyond just providing water.
Providing clean water helps improve the health of these children and prevents the spread of diseases that thrive in places lacking safe water. It also gives them the chance to focus on their daily lives without thinking about thirst or worrying about disease. The water you provide is not just a drop; it is a new hope for the children of Gaza. It is an opportunity for them to dream of a better future.

Dear Donors, you are not just giving them water; you are giving them life itself.
Every drop of water you provide is a ray of hope, a new beginning, a strong message to them saying, "You are not alone, we are with you, we remember you, we help you, we give you life." You are opening doors of hope for them, planting in their hearts the belief that tomorrow may be better.

We urge you to continue supporting this vital project, because the continuation of this support means that life will go on, and the children of Gaza will no longer face the daily battle of securing the most basic of their rights. Together, we can change their lives and give them the chance to live in safety and health.

Thank you for your generous support and for your ongoing help to the children of Gaza. You are truly building a better future for them.

With sincere gratitude,
