A Warm Meal, A Ray of Hope: Supporting Saleh's Family in Gaza's Hardest Times

By Hasan Sadk | Project leader

Dear Donor

Amid the suffocating siege and the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip, the most vulnerable families remain in urgent need of ongoing support—especially those living in camps and lacking the most basic necessities of life.

The family of Saleh, residing in Al-Sabireen Camp in northern Gaza, is one such heartbreaking case. Saleh lives with his mother and sister Farah in a small tent that offers little protection from the cold nights or the scorching sun. After losing their sole breadwinner, the mother now struggles daily to provide even the bare minimum for her children.

As part of our efforts to alleviate the suffering of needy families, we recently distributed hot meals to Saleh’s family. They received nutritious food that would last for several days, and the impact was clear in the joy reflected in the children’s faces, who hadn’t had a warm homemade meal in a long time.

Saleh’s mother expressed her deep gratitude, saying: “I never imagined I would be able to feed my children a warm meal like this. May God reward everyone who contributed.”

We sincerely thank all our generous donors who made this humanitarian initiative possible. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to deliver a message of hope and support to an exhausted family and restore a bit of human warmth in such unstable conditions.

We hope for your continued support—many families are still waiting for a helping hand.

May God bless you.
