At one of the displacement shelters in Deir Al-Balah, Gaza Strip, our team distributed safe and clean drinking water to displaced families, including young Basma and her mother, who are living under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions due to severe water shortages.
When they received their share of clean drinking water, Basma’s joy was overwhelming. Her bright smile was a powerful reminder of how access to something as essential as clean water can restore hope and dignity to a child’s life. In such fragile environments, clean water is not only a basic necessity—it is a critical safeguard for children’s health and a protection against disease.
This humanitarian intervention was made possible thanks to your generous support and continued trust, which enable us to reach the most vulnerable families in shelter centers and provide life-saving essentials when they are needed most.
