By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader
Firewood was distributed to Samir and his family, who are currently living in Al Hassan Camp in northern Gaza, as part of our ongoing efforts to support vulnerable families affected by displacement and prolonged humanitarian challenges.
The family faces daily hardship due to severe shortages of fuel and electricity, which have significantly limited their ability to meet basic household needs. With restricted access to alternative energy sources, firewood remains one of the few available options for cooking meals and providing warmth, especially during colder periods.
This distribution helped the family maintain essential daily activities, eased immediate pressure on household resources, and contributed to a safer and more stable living environment. Access to firewood is critical for families in the camp, where living conditions remain extremely difficult and options are limited.
Support like this plays an important role in strengthening the resilience of displaced families and addressing urgent needs in resource-scarce settings. Each contribution helps ensure that families like Samir’s can better cope with ongoing challenges and preserve dignity in their daily lives.
Thank you for helping make this assistance possible.
