Dear Supporter
This image captures a deeply human moment—one that reflects hardship, yet carries within it a quiet sense of hope and reassurance. In the heart of Al-Hussein Camp (2) in the northern Gaza Strip, where cold weather intensifies daily suffering and basic resources are scarce, our firewood distribution activity for heating and cooking came as an urgent response to a critical humanitarian need.
The photo shows a sincere human interaction between one of our field team members and a child from the camp. The firewood held in the child’s hands represents far more than fuel for warmth or cooking—it symbolizes safety, survival, and dignity in the face of extremely harsh living conditions. The child’s smile, despite the surrounding deprivation, reflects silent gratitude and a simple joy for something that will help ease the cold nights and allow his family to prepare food.
The expression of care and responsibility on the face of our field worker embodies the true essence of humanitarian work—support delivered with respect and compassion. In this moment, the firewood was not merely distributed; it became emotional warmth, a message that these families are not forgotten and that someone stands beside them in their time of need.

In closing, this image reminds us that even the simplest form of assistance can create profound impact, and that the warmth of human solidarity can penetrate the harshest circumstances. We extend our deepest appreciation to our generous donors whose support transformed compassion into tangible relief and helped preserve human dignity amid crisis.
With sincere gratitude,
