The Virtual Classrom is getting some traction. Once fully functional this site will empower teachers, educators and other community leaders with direct access to many tools that will encourage and build literacy in children, and adults, in ANY community. This online classroom will be an amazing resource at a click of the mouse. Videos, study guides, lesson plans, forums and many other interactive features will change how our comminuties can grow together.

We have some phenomenal amazing support on the technical side. As previously mentioned we are working to build a database and technical consultant, Maksim Tsvetovat, is setting up the foundation and structure that will get the site up and running. We're also partnered with Shana Carp to write content and develop our marketing strategy to make sure people know about what services the site will offer and how they can get access to valuable resources.

In addition to  these two amazing people and their teams we would like to introduce you to  Daniel Modell who we recently joined with on this project. He is a creative director, art director and interactive designer with a background in photography, illustration and the fine arts.

His first professional client was a broadcast group known as Newcity Communications, later acquired by Clear Channel. The project began with the objective of creating an online presence for a group of radio stations that delivered news and entertainment in the Syracuse, NY market, and with Daniel’s direction, was expanded to become a first-of-its-kind local city guide, providing up-to-date content, and a hub for advertisers, driving additional revenue and public interest.

Daniel went on to form a company called Inspiral Design, offering brand design and marketing services to local businesses. He was hired by his largest client, Sage Marcom, where he worked as the company’s first staff interactive designer. Since then, Daniel has spent nearly two decades working for many of New York's top digital agencies, small creative shops, and innovative startups, where has been responsible for numerous successful and award-winning campaigns. The more well-known names include DDB, Organic, Ogilvy, BBDO, and Amazon.

In 2010, he started Daniel Modell Design, to provide strategic, creative, and interactive technology services for a select group of clients, with a focus on developing efficient solutions for marketing, advertising, eCommerce, content strategy, and social media. Daniel’s expertise is in translating business requirements into interactive experiences.

In 2014, his interest in blockchain technology led him to accept a creative advisory role for FoldingCoin, a project that uses crypto-currency technology to incentivize participants who donate their un-used computational cycles to simulate complex protein folding in order to aid researchers in the quest to discover cures for diseases.

With this diverse team we are building a strong foundation and structure to ensure the quality, sustainibility and reach of the Virtual Classroom.
