Dear Friends,
As the world marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, we at Her Academy are filled with gratitude for your continued support — and with renewed determination to create real, lasting change for women rebuilding their lives after years of prostitution, trafficking, violence, and marginalization.
Your generosity enables women to access safety, stability, and opportunity at a time when these are needed more than ever.
What We’ve Achieved Together in Recent Months
1. Expanded Vocational Training & Employment Support
Over the past quarter, 76 women participated in our vocational courses across Tel Aviv and Haifa. Many are now entering long-term employment tracks in:
Office administration
Digital literacy
Graphic design
Employment is not only financial independence — it is a lifeline. It offers stability, safety, and a pathway out of cycles of violence.
2. New Trauma-Informed Support Programs
With rising levels of anxiety, isolation, and retraumatization following the events of the past year, we launched:
Weekly emotional-wellbeing workshops
Social meetups
Group resilience sessions
Over 120 women received emotional and social support this quarter alone.
3. Strengthening Our Community Spaces
Our classrooms have become safe, warm, community-centered environments where women can learn, heal, and grow. This month we completed essential upgrades to enhance accessibility, privacy, and comfort — made possible thanks to donors like you.
Why This Work Matters Today More Than Ever
On this global day dedicated to ending violence against women, we are reminded that:
Women living in extreme vulnerability face elevated risks of exploitation
Economic instability heightens exposure to violence
Access to employment is a proven protective factor
At Her Academy, we see this every day:
When a woman gains skills, income, and community — her entire life trajectory changes. She becomes safer. Her children become safer. Her future opens.
Your support makes this possible.
A Story of Transformation: S. (Age 32)
“For the first time in years, I wake up knowing I am building a life that is mine. I’m studying office administration, working part-time, and saving money for my own apartment. I never imagined this would be possible.”
S. came to Her Academy after years of violence, addiction, and homelessness.
Today she is employed, stable, and surrounded by a supportive community.
This is the impact of your partnership.
What’s Next?
In early 2026 we will:
Open new employment training tracks in digital skills
Expand our Haifa branch services
Launch a new resilience and leadership track for graduates
Continue assisting women with safe employment placements and long-term follow-up
Your continued support ensures that no woman walks this journey alone.
With Deep Gratitude
Thank you for standing with us — not only on this global day of awareness, but every single day.
Together, we are reshaping what safety, opportunity, and dignity look like for women who deserve nothing less.
