Warm Winter: Bringing Warmth to Displaced Syrians

With the arrival of winter in northern Syria, life in the camps becomes even more difficult and harsh. The freezing cold, heavy rains, and snow that cover the ground make daily life for displaced families even more bitter. Families living in informal camps face extreme environmental conditions, lacking even the most basic necessities such as heating and adequate shelter.

In the countryside of Suran, where many displaced families live in camps with no basic infrastructure, securing firewood for heating becomes a critical issue for the survival of these families in the cold. Many families cannot afford to purchase firewood or fuel due to limited resources and economic hardships.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to reach 250 families in three informal camps in the countryside of Suran. We provided them with firewood for heating, helping them cope with the severe cold, and giving them a means to keep their children safe from winter illnesses.

Your donations go beyond providing basic materials; they give these families moments of safety and comfort in harsh conditions, assuring them that there are those who care and stand by them during these tough times.
