Dear Donor
As winter approaches, the suffering of displaced families living in camps in northern Syria intensifies. The cold becomes harsher, and securing basic necessities such as food and warmth becomes more difficult. At Amal Al-Umma Organization, we continue our efforts to reach the most vulnerable camps and support families living in extremely harsh conditions inside worn-out tents that can barely withstand the rain and cold.
Today, we visited one of the informal camps in the countryside of Azaz, where we met Fadel, a child who suffers from severe visual impairment. He lives with his parents and three siblings in a simple tent that provides them with only minimal protection. His father struggles every day to provide for the family despite the lack of job opportunities and the rising prices, while his mother does her best to keep the children warm and safe from the harshness of winter.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide fresh bread to Fadel’s family and several other families in the camp, helping ease part of the heavy burden they carry daily. Your support was not just bread — it was comfort and security for a family facing hunger, cold, and hardship.
As winter deepens, needs continue to rise significantly. We hope you will continue standing with these families, as your support remains their strongest lifeline during such difficult times.
Thank you to everyone who extended a helping hand… because of you, hope continues.
