A Warm Meal of Hope: Hot Rice Reaches Haitham's Family in Deir al-Balah

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Supporter

In the eighth camp of Deir al-Balah in the Gaza Strip, young Haitham lives with his family under extremely difficult conditions created by the ongoing blockade, food shortages, and rising prices that far exceed what most families can afford. In this harsh reality, a hot meal has become a rare comfort—a small dream for families struggling to survive with the little they have.

During our recent distribution round, our team reached Haitham’s tent and provided his family with a hot dish of rice—a simple meal that brought warmth and hope to a home overwhelmed by hunger and uncertainty. The look in Haitham’s eyes reflected a quiet happiness, reminding us that such meals are not just food; they are moments of relief for families exhausted by hardship.

At Amal Al-Umma Organization, we work tirelessly to reach the most vulnerable families in Gaza and provide essential food support amidst the deteriorating humanitarian situation. A warm meal delivered to a family like Haitham’s is only possible because of your generosity and compassion. Your contributions create real, tangible impact on the ground.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every donor who stands with us. Because of you, a child like Haitham can find something warm on the table in the midst of so much suffering.

Your support keeps hope alive.
