A Meal of Warmth: A Rice Dish That Brought Life Back to Sarah's Family

By HASAN SADIK | project Leader

Dear Supporter

In the heart of Al-Zaytoun Camp in central Gaza—where the blockade tightens and daily life grows more difficult—little Sarah lives with her parents and her elderly grandfather in harsh conditions weighed down by hunger and the lack of basic necessities. With constant power cuts, soaring prices, and the scarcity of food, a simple hot meal has become a distant dream for many families.

Like hundreds of children in Gaza, Sarah waited for something small that could brighten her day…
Just one warm meal that could bring comfort to her and relief to her exhausted family.

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide a hot rice meal to Sarah’s family.
A humble dish on the surface, yet for them it was a lifeline on a day when they didn’t know how they would satisfy their hunger—especially for the elderly grandfather who needs warm, nourishing food.

The impact of this single meal was profound;
it restored some strength to the family, brought joy to Sarah’s heart, and offered a moment of comfort in a life filled with hardship.

Your giving does more than feed the hungry—it restores dignity, spreads hope, and reminds these families that compassionate hearts around the world still care.

Thank you for bringing warmth into homes worn down by hardship, and for extending your kindness at the exact moment it was needed most.

With your continued support, we can deliver more hot meals to families who wait desperately for such help.
