Dear Donor
Amal Alumma continues its humanitarian mission in the Gaza Strip, where thousands of displaced families endure extremely harsh conditions—conditions that worsen further with the arrival of winter. As temperatures drop, the most vulnerable families face urgent needs that require immediate intervention.
Over the past days, our field teams conducted a comprehensive assessment across several shelters in Gaza to identify the locations experiencing the most critical levels of need. This effort focused on understanding the gaps and determining which centers require rapid winter assistance to protect families—especially children—from the cold.
Initial findings revealed severe shortages in essential winter items, including:
- Blankets
- Winter clothing
- Heating supplies
- Moisture-resistant covers
- Basic needs for infants and young children
In response to these urgent needs, Amal Alumma is preparing a rapid winter intervention that will target the most affected families as quickly as possible, aiming to ease their suffering and help them endure the hardships of the season.
We will share further details of this intervention in the coming days, including the targeted areas and the types of aid that will be delivered, ensuring full transparency for our generous supporters.
Your continued support is what enables us to stand with these vulnerable families in their darkest times.
Thank you for your trust and compassion.
