Dear Supporter
Amid the extremely harsh humanitarian conditions faced by displaced families in northern Gaza, Amal Al Umma Organization continues to provide urgent assistance to those most in need—especially as heavy rain and cold weather worsen living conditions.
As part of this emergency response, our field team distributed a rain-protective shelter tarp to the family of Mr. Gharib, who lives with his wife and five children in Al-Mukhtar Camp, northern Gaza. The family resides in a temporary shelter that lacks basic protection, leaving them highly vulnerable to rain, wind, and cold—particularly endangering the health and safety of the children.
This tarp provides essential protection by preventing rainwater from entering the shelter, safeguarding the family’s limited belongings, and reducing health risks associated with dampness and exposure to cold. While simple, this intervention makes a meaningful and immediate difference in the family’s daily life, offering a sense of safety and dignity during an ongoing crisis.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our generous donors, whose support made this assistance possible. Your contributions go beyond material aid—they help restore dignity and resilience to families facing displacement and severe hardship.
Together, we remain committed to supporting vulnerable families and responding to urgent humanitarian needs wherever they arise.
