Dear Donor
Amid the severe humanitarian conditions faced by families in the northern Gaza Strip, and with the harsh winter and the complete absence of heating and cooking resources, our organization distributed a quantity of firewood to the family of young Hiyam, who lives with her mother and her elderly grandparents in Al-Hussein Camp (2).
The family lacks even the most basic necessities of life and has no means of heating or cooking other than firewood, especially in light of the widespread destruction and the total cutoff of energy sources. The humanitarian burden is even heavier with the presence of two elderly grandparents who require special care, and a young child facing the bitter cold inside a tent that offers little protection from winter conditions.
Although modest, this assistance had a direct and meaningful impact in alleviating the family’s suffering, providing a vital source of warmth and a way to prepare food, and reminding them that they are not alone in this hardship.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all donors and supporters whose generosity made this intervention possible.
Through your support, we continue. Through your giving, we bring warmth and hope to families in need.
