Scouting other water sources
Dear Friend,
Thank you for your support to our project water supply for children and their families. The El Nino phenomenon has resulted in extreme hot season and the drying-up of traditional water sources. Villagers find it difficult to secure water as water wells and springs dry-up. We hope for the rains to come but we don't know when this will happen. This time we are doing village assessments in order to find additional water sources that we can tap and help the ones that we already have. This is tedious work but necessary. Hoping that you will continue to support us. We want to distribute also water containers like plastic drums to our beneficiaries.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre

Biosand filtration initiative
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our initiative providing water supply for children and their families. Water supply is very important in villages deficient with water and we are happy to report that we are able to continue to provide families with this important facility. We introduce to them this time simple water filtration techniques using biosand filtration. This is efficient and reduces morbidity and mortality especially among children. Our introduction is by means of training and house to house visitation to explain how the system works. Your continued support to this very important initiative is very important. Thank you very much and hoping that you will continue to support us.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre

Reaping the benefits
Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your support to our project providing water for children and their families. We are happy to report that poor families who previously have little access to water are able to access now with our assistance. Water access is by means of installing pipes, providing containers or the construction of ponds. Aside from water from springs, we train them to also collect water from rain which is plentiful at this time but sooner with the El Nino phenomena, water will be less so the timing of collection is now. Your support to this project is crucial as families are able to grow their crops and use water for their regular hygiene and daily hose needs. Again, thank you very much and God bless.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian Sayre
