Thanks to your suppor the development of our new administrative hub and wildlife reception center is well underway.
What was once an abandoned building, overgrown with plants, mold and the passage of time, is shaping up to be the new permanente location for our administration, direction, grant writing and record keeping. The location also permited a much needed area for clinical management of wildlife remitted to us, as well as an area to keep the animals safe and warm in the cloud forest of the Cerro Alux.
It is now time to move to the next step, the building of adequate enclosures. We receive multiple birds of prey from the mountain ranges, small mammals that reside in the periurban areas, and animals that were trafficked away from their environment and need a safe space to be while they are relocated. All of them requiere space and security, this is our next step, the design is done, we are breaking ground but we still need to make a push to buy the finishing materials; with your help we can get to the finish line.
Thank you again for your continuos support, the animals rescued in the central area of Guatemala have a brighter future.
