Our 14th annual year of delivering winter necessities and gifts to indigenous families and children in Taiwan expanded to the indigenous youth of Beinan in Taitung this year; it was another successful year.
We have started finding some reliable partners in our annual reindeer deliveries with China Fun Entertainment now assisting in wrapping each and every gift of the children’s wishlist that goes along with providing the food staples and necessities. This year we went up 100 more gifts and hope to continue this expansion next year.
Number of Children wishlist fulfilled: 47
Number of Seniors wishlist fulfilled: 5
Number of Families: 25
Locations: Chingchuan, Taitung (FUKID ShinMaLan and Beinan)
Gifts wrapped: over 400 items
We kicked off our reindeer deliveries in the mountains of Hsinchu, working once again with Taoshan Elementary School and the Catholic Church to source families and children that would benefit the most. We hope that more of our friends abroad can come together for the children and older friends in Taiwan during the winter months - this includes diapers for young and old, blankets, food necessities such as rice and noodles, more more. We are definitely looking forward to our 15th year and the surprises and smiles it may bring!
