For ten consecutive days, the civil defense teams in the mountains of Latakia, western Syria, bravely battled devastating wildfires that swept across vast forest areas, threatening the lives and livelihoods of local residents and causing severe environmental damage.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide food, clean water, and essential logistical equipment to these courageous teams, who never stopped their humanitarian mission despite the extremely harsh conditions. Your donations empowered them to continue their heroic efforts day and night until they finally managed to bring the fires under control, saving dozens of hectares of forest and nearby homes.
What has been achieved is a true testament to the power of human solidarity and compassion — a reminder that our shared generosity can protect both people and nature.
