Argentine Network for International Cooperation (RACI)

Between August and November 2025, RACI continued to strengthen its role as a key platform for articulating and connecting civil society in Argentina and the region. The organization advanced initiatives focused on institutional strengthening, innovation in international cooperation, and the creation of positive narratives that help rebuild trust in the sector.

Strengthening the Social Sector

From August to November, RACI implemented several initiatives aimed at reinforcing the institutional capacities of civil society organizations (CSOs). Through the training series Transform Your Work: Strengthening Tools for CSOs, sessions were held on leadership, strategic communication, and project management, engaging dozens of organizations from across Buenos Aires.

During this same period, RACI launched a new edition of the Salary Band Study of the Social Sector in Argentina, a key tool for understanding labor realities and sustainability challenges faced by CSOs. The report provided a comprehensive overview of organizational structures, employment modalities, and financial strategies, reaffirming RACI’s commitment to generating evidence that informs decision-making and promotes the professionalization of the social sector.

Innovation and International Cooperation

RACI deepened its engagement with the global initiative Reimagining the Future of Civil Society, promoting spaces for dialogue aimed at rethinking the role of civil society in addressing current global challenges. Within this framework, RACI hosted local, regional, and global discussions under the title Transform the Narrative: How to Build Positive Narratives for Civil Society, with the goal of questioning existing perceptions and fostering new ways of communicating the sector’s value and legitimacy.

The organization also strengthened its partnerships with international allies by hosting a gathering with representatives from embassies, cooperation agencies, and foundations at the German Embassy. The meeting featured the presentation of findings from the National Survey on Civil Society and updates from the Reimagining program, creating space for collective reflection on the future of international cooperation.

Strategic Partnerships and Managed Funds

Aligned with its mission to bridge international cooperation and local organizations, RACI continued managing funds in collaboration with strategic partners. Among the highlights was the work carried out under the New Zealand Embassy Fund, which supports local initiatives that promote sustainable development and social inclusion.

In parallel, RACI maintained monitoring and technical assistance activities for ongoing projects, ensuring transparency, effectiveness, and shared learning throughout the implementation process.

Narratives, Advocacy, and Communication

To enhance the visibility and legitimacy of the social sector, RACI launched Transform the Narrative, a series of open and free virtual discussions that brought together diverse voices to examine the myths, discourses, and challenges shaping civil society today.

In addition, the organization continued producing strategic communication materials—including articles, newsletters, reports, and social media campaigns—designed to showcase CSO impact, share cooperation opportunities, and foster a stronger sense of community across the network.

Institutional Growth and RACI Community

Throughout this period, RACI continued to expand its community by welcoming new member organizations and consolidating spaces for collective learning and exchange. The organization also intensified its efforts to strengthen internal processes related to communication, knowledge management, and technological innovation, including the integration of artificial intelligence tools into its daily operations.
