BRAVEAURORA support to Sagadugu
By Samuel Abeene | Project Leader
BRAVEAURORA is still comminted to supporting children in Sagadugu to get access to quality education in a safe and comfortable environment. Our efforts have been to biuld a befitting classroom block for the school.
Though the budget for the building does not come anywhere near the amount raised so far, we remain committed to supporting children in accessing quality education. For this reason, we have identified 240 needy but briliant students, whom without support risks dropping out of school. These children are provided with educational resources for their use.
The are also scouting for further opportunities that will aid us build the classroom for the school.

Updates from the Sagadugu school
By Samuel Abeene | Project Leader
It has not been easy getting support for the school but we as an organization is not relenting on our effort to support the school anytime soon. Though we received just an iota of funding form the GlobalGiving Community, we are will use it as support to ofefer some playbased methodology training to their teachers. It is evident that the school isnt going to be build aytime soon looking at the funds that receive. With this in mind, as schools reopened on the 14th of January 2025, we have captured it as part of our plan to train these teachers to further support the children while we await the school building.

First of all, we want to extend our appreciation to all those who supported our project and we hope to see you support us again.
As part of the updates for the project, we received funds for our project amounting to $271.56 out of $30,000 representing 0.9% of the target amount which is meant for a building. However, we have not been able to secure additional funds for the project.
Looking at the cost of starting any part of the building, the money received is woefully insufficient to start the project.
That not with standing, we continue to support the school and the children to thrive even in the poor condition of their school and by so doing, we have procured text books to be used by the teachers in guiding the students and we have also introduced fully funded extra tuition hour for the children to be able to cover for all the lost tuition hours they mised because of rain. These books are yet to be distributed when school resumes.
