Computer Lab at Mwaji Secondary School
Orphans Africa teaches computer skill at our schools in Tanzania. Training African students on computers is crucial for bridging the digital divide, equipping them with essential 21st-century skills like problem-solving, coding, and digital literacy. This training enhances their job prospects in a tech-driven world, fosters economic growth in the country, improves access to education and healthcare, and empowers them to become innovators and contributors to Africa's future development. Without these skills, these vulnerable children risk being left behind in a global economy increasingly reliant on technology, missing out on decent jobs and opportunities, and hindering overall societal progress.
Thank you for your support to help these children compete in the 21st century.

The Digital Age for African Orphans
By Vickie lackman | Volunter Board Vice President
African students should not be left behind in the digital age. Few schools have computers or even internet access, and some do not have electricity, yet to be competitive in the 21st Century being trained on computers is esssential for job opportunities. This provides a way out of poverty. Orphans Africa provides free education for orphans and an education gives them a chance to be successful in the world. Our Isandula Vocational College programs have a nearly 100% job placement.
Upgrading the computer labs and Mwaji Secondary School and Isandula Vocational College is essential to prepare more students for the 21st Century. Computer skills are valuable for employment, whether graduates are going to work for local businesses or starting their own business.
Orphans Africa is working on bringing computers and digital technology to Isandula Vocational College and Mwaji Secondary School in Tanzania. We still need funding for computers, cables, and other computer related essentials. Please help give these orphans the support they need to join the digital age.

Students from Rural Tanzania Need Computers
By Vickie Lackman | Volunteer Vice President
![]()
We are building computer labs at our schools to help bridge the technology divide. 65% of the Tanzanian people live in rural areas where there is limited access to technology. The majority of our orphan students come from these rural villages. Education in computers and technology is essential for these students to improve their education and thrive in the digital age.
Providing computers is essential to close the digital divide between Tanzanian students and the rest of the digital world. The electrical grid can be unstable so we also bring solar power to the schools so students can continue to learn and use computers when the power is out.
Help us bring updated computers and technology to these students to help give them opportunities in the modern workplace.
