BUILD A PLAY CENTER FOR CHILDREN IN ARGENTINA

Dear Donors,

We hope the year has begun well for you. As we look ahead, we wanted to share how deeply your support continues to shape the lives of the children at our play center in the Bancalari neighbourhood.

Thanks to your generosity, we are moving forward with plans to continue building the first floor of our play center. Your donations do more than fund construction, they give our children space to grow, to feel safe, and to simply be children. Because of you, we are able to dream bigger and create a future filled with possibility.

Today, between 35 and 50 children come to the center each day to play, learn, and connect. Our hope is that, once construction is complete, we will be able to welcome up to 100 children daily, doubling the number of children who can enjoy a safe, joyful, and nurturing environment.

This year has been filled with moments of happiness and discovery through play. Through art, free play, recycling, and many other activities, the children are building confidence, creativity, and friendships. These experiences may seem simple, but for our children, they make a meaningful difference in their everyday lives.

Enclosed, you will see a photo of one of our recipients of the annual Honesty Prize. This award celebrates a child who has shown courage and integrity by choosing always the truth. Each year, our children participate in an Annual Values Contest, where they are recognized for living out these values. The child who stands out the most is rewarded with a three-day trip to the ocean, an unforgettable experience and, for many, their very first time seeing the ocean.

We have also included photos of the roof construction currently underway. This important step brings us closer to completing the first floor and continuing our mission through future fundraising efforts.

From all of us, and from every child whose life you touch, thank you. Your support helps us build more than a play center — it helps us build hope, dignity, and opportunity for the children who need it most. We are truly grateful to walk this journey together toward a better future.

Dear donors,

Thanks to the many donations we have received to construct the playing center we have today a beautiful place and it is full of happy children that play there from Monday to Friday. They love their place and say it is like their home. We are increasing the amount of children up to 50 children. We have started with a group of fifteen children but that number has increased so much due to the beautiful place they have and the love they receive from the coordinators of the playing center.

We enclose some pictures of what they have been doing lately. The children have a beautiful place outside to play. Some of them prefer to be out there playing with a ball or with toys, and they also paint outside.

We have a volunteer that goes every week to teach knitting to the girls. They love and enjoy knitting a lot!

We also started a new project called A HEART BOX TO EXPRESS WHAT YOU NEED OR WHAT YOU WANT. They love to have their own space to express in their notebooks what they feel. Some write and others make pictures. In each HEART BOX there is a copybook and pencils. Each child has put his or her name on the cover of the HEART BOX. It is a great experience for the children and they are trained to get in touch with their feelings, fears and all what they are living. Enclosed are some pictures of the bookcase full of HEART BOXES and some children with their new copybooks and pencils.

With regard to the July Bonus Day Campaign, we are going to register again this year because it is a great opportunity to keep on growing with our construction. We would like to construct the upper floor in order to have more children. We are very grateful with you all becaus thanks to you all this dream has come true and will continue receiving more children that deserve a happy childhood.
