The children of Verna house are very thankful to all of our wonderful donors for giving them a chance at a brighter future. These children had little or no hope in their poor deprived living conditions, in poverty and in hunger. These children used to live I slums or by the road side without proper care or a chance at a proper education. Today they are enjoying a chance at a new and brighter future.
Verna House has been a big blessing to about 75 such children, They have healthy meals, can sleep comfortably, get an education and are surrounded by the love and care of the El Shaddai staff. They play together and study together. They are truly blessed by all that you, as their sponsors and well-wishers have done for them
They have celebrated Christmas, New Years and a lot of other activities which wouldn’t be possible if they were living on the streets. A quick visit to the Verna House will fill your heart with such joy and compassion that words would have a hard time explaining.
If you are visiting Goa, please do come and see the children in Verna House or follow the news on El Shaddai Charitable Trust social pages. The visiting timings at Verna House is 4.30 to 6.00pm. It would be nice if you are around in South Goa, do visit the children. We hope to have your continuous association and support. Thank you!
