In the heart of Sinda District, Eastern Province, a family of nine now enjoys a safer, healthier home thanks to an improved clean cookstove. Previously, cooking over a traditional three-stone fire filled their home with smoke, posing risks to their health, especially for the women and children who spend most of their time near the cooking area.
With your support, this family has transitioned to a cleaner, more efficient way of cooking. The new cookstove reduces smoke exposure, uses less firewood, and minimizes the risk of burns and accidents. This means fewer trips to collect firewood, more time for education and other activities, and a healthier environment for the family.
The impact is clear: healthier lives, safer homes, and a step towards environmental conservation. Your contribution has made this transformation possible, improving lives in Chimtengo Village and beyond.
Warm Regards
