Hello,
Can you believe it’s been 3 months since we last spoke! We are thrilled to share an update on the impactful project you generously supported through our education program in a rural township outside Cape Town, South Africa. Your contributions are making a tangible difference in the lives of children in the Masiphumelele community.
Our educational school and program is committed to providing quality learning opportunities to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. We believe that education is a fundamental human right and a powerful tool for social change. From early childhood education to a full Primary School, we tailor our educational initiatives to meet the community’s needs. Our innovative curriculum ensures that learners receive a high-quality education, preparing them for success in school, work, and life.
Thanks to your support, children engaged with our program are now part of a caring family. Sponsorship plays a crucial role in our daily functioning, ensuring that children’s education security is safeguarded. Through our work, we witness lives transformed, families strengthened, and communities revitalized. By providing educational opportunities and resources, we break the cycle of poverty and empower individuals to pursue their dreams.
Last week our CEO at action change stepped up and went with the school teachers to go shopping to purchase art supplies, stationery and textbooks to help the students have enough resources for the next 6 months, the total cost was $2,235.98 which means it costs us around $15 for 1 child for 12 months of stationery, books and art supplies - your donations can go far and really change lives. The shop is currently on credit but we are all ready to start fundraising as we welcome the students back after half term.
Thank you for being part of this transformative journey. Your belief in the power of young leaders is shaping a better world.
With heartfelt gratitude, Lloyd
