Dear Donor,
In northern Syria, the humanitarian situation remains deeply distressing. Families continue to suffer daily under the weight of poverty, displacement, and the lack of basic necessities.
On the outskirts of the city of Souran in northern Syria, little Yasmin lives with her parents and younger brother Raad in a modest home that barely shields them from the harsh winter cold and the scorching summer heat. The family endures extremely difficult living conditions — the father cannot find steady work, and the mother struggles to provide for her children with what little she has, but the challenges far exceed her ability.
Days passed heavily for Yasmin, who has never known the joys of a normal childhood. Instead of playing and studying, she got used to falling asleep hungry and waking up to the question, “Is there food today?”
But thanks to your generous support and your compassionate hearts, we were able to provide a complete food basket for Yasmin’s family — one that contains essential items to sustain them for an entire month. This basket was a true source of joy and brought a sense of hope back to hearts that had grown weary from waiting.
Your contribution made a real difference in the life of this family, once again proving that kindness knows no borders and compassion never stops at a checkpoint.
