Progress Summary

1. Project Launch and Outreach:

   • The project was launched with a fundraising campaign on GlobalGiving.
   • Extensive outreach activities included social media promotions, collaboration with local organizations, and community engagement events.

2. Funds Raised:

   • As of now, some funds have been raised through generous contributions from individual donors, corporate partners, and community supporters.

3. Procurement and Distribution:

   • Tri-Motor Bikes Procured: 02.
   • Distribution started in December, focusing on individuals from underserved areas with limited mobility resources.
   • Regions Covered: Sanghar & Karachi, Sindh Pakistan.
   • NDF seeks more attention to keep it up. 

The "Tri-Motor Bike for Persons with Disabilities" project, funded by GlobalGiving, aims to provide free tri-motor bikes to individuals with disabilities in Pakistan. These modified motorbikes are designed to enhance mobility and independence for physically challenged persons, enabling them to navigate their surroundings more effectively. 

Key Achievements

Distribution of Tri-Motor Bikes: Since the project's inception, 05 tri-motor bikes have been distributed to beneficiaries across various regions in Pakistan. These bikes have been tailored to meet the specific needs of each individual, ensuring optimal usability and comfort.

Community Engagement: The project has successfully engaged with local communities, disability rights organizations, and government agencies to raise awareness and support for the initiative. This collaborative approach has facilitated smoother implementation and increased outreach.

Capacity Building: Training sessions have been conducted for recipients to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to operate and maintain the tri-motor bikes safely. This initiative has empowered users and contributed to the project's sustainability.

Challenges Encountered

Supply Chain Issues: The project faced delays due to challenges in sourcing and importing the necessary components for the tri-motor bikes. These delays impacted the overall distribution timeline.

Customization Delays: Modifying the motorbikes to suit individual needs proved to be time-intensive, leading to extended waiting periods for some beneficiaries.
