During this reporting period, our Eco-Literacy project continued working toward providing environmental education books to rural children in South Africa. Through the Nourish Educational Series, including stories like Chris the Crocodile, we aim to build literacy while inspiring a love and respect for nature. These locally created books combine reading development, conservation awareness, and Ubuntu values.
Many rural children have limited access to books, making initiatives like this essential for both education and environmental understanding. With continued support, we are moving closer to reaching 100,000 children with stories that spark curiosity, strengthen reading skills, and encourage young learners to care for the natural world around them.
