Jambo!
With the start of the 2026 school year almost upon us, we are filled with excitement as we welcome our students back to campus. Each new year brings fresh opportunities for growth, discovery, and joy, and we cannot wait to see how our learners continue to develop, both academically and as young people. The campus has been quiet during the holiday, and we are eager to see it come alive again with the sound of children’s laughter, footsteps, and eager questions filling our classrooms and walkways.
In our lower classes, our students will be working to recognize and confidently identify their letters and numbers, strengthening the skills that will support them throughout their education. They will begin sounding out words, which is an exciting step that opens the door to independent reading and a lifelong love of learning. These early achievements not only build academic readiness, but also boost their confidence as they realize all they are capable of accomplishing.
For our older students, the year ahead offers a wide range of experiences. They will be learning to tell time and applying mathematical skills in real-life situations. In science, students will have the opportunity to explore the world around them more deeply by using microscopes to examine plants, insects, and everyday objects, turning curiosity into hands-on discovery. They will also learn about the important roles that community members play throughout Tanzania, helping them build an understanding of responsibility, cooperation, and the diverse ways individuals contribute to the villages, cities and regions surrounding them.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our sponsors for their continued support. Your generosity is the cornerstone of the opportunities our students receive. Because of you, our learners walk into classrooms equipped with the tools, materials, and encouragement they need to thrive. Your commitment allows them to grow academically, explore new interests, and dream boldly about their future. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and belief in the potential of every child at our school.
As we begin this new school year, we look forward to all that lies ahead and to sharing the students’ achievements with you. Thank you for standing with us, supporting our mission, and helping to create a vibrant learning environment where every child can learn, grow, and shine.
All the best.
