Dear Esteemed Supporters,
As we enter 2026, the team at the Support Yemeni Society Organization (SYS) wishes to extend our deepest gratitude for your partnership. This year marks a significant milestone: six years of dedicated collaboration that has fundamentally shifted the trajectory for thousands of young girls across rural Yemen.
Our Outcomes: Six Years of Progress
What began as an initiative to support 1,000 students has evolved into a vital pillar of the community. Your contributions have moved the needle from immediate relief to sustainable development.
Educational Advancement: Thousands of girls have returned to—and remained in—school. Most notably, hundreds of our initial beneficiaries have now transitioned to higher education, pursuing careers as doctors, teachers, and nurses.
Health and Dignity: At partner schools like Al-Najah and Al-Razi, your support has effectively removed the "hunger barrier." By addressing food insecurity, we have empowered families to prioritize long-term education over short-term survival.
Holistic Development: Our mission extends beyond nutrition. We have integrated Psychological Support to build resilience in students facing hardship and launched Creative Initiatives, such as the "Glimmer of Hope" festivals, to foster talent and mental well-being.
Impact Spotlight: January 2026
"Today, I am ranked first in my school... I no longer feel dizzy during classes." — Noor (14), 9th Grade Student. Noor once expected to leave school after 6th grade; today, she is an aspiring software developer aiming to modernize her village through technology.
The Principal of one of our rural partner schools notes: “With the recent reduction in international aid, SYS has become the sole guarantee for keeping our girls in classrooms. The school meal is now the primary incentive for regular attendance.”
The Path Ahead: Sustaining Our Momentum
While we celebrate these successes, 2026 brings new challenges. Global funding shortages have made our local efforts more critical than ever. For many of our students, the meal provided by SYS remains their only consistent source of nutrition.
To ensure this lifeline remains intact, we invite you to continue your journey with us:
Monthly Donation: The most effective way to provide the stability our programs need.
Advocacy: sharing our project with your friends and family helps us reach new partners who value sustainable impact.
