Thank you for donating to the Libuyu Community School with the African Impact Foundation in Livingstone, Zambia!
Your donation has enabled us to begin the construction of a three classroom block which is currently at the substructure level - the builders are making incredible progress!
Because of you, the school will be able to increase the amount of learning hours for the students (as they are currently only on half days) and also the school will be able to enroll more children. This means so much for the community!
During the past month, the contractor and his workers have been busy rising the walls from the foundation level to the roof level. The classrooms are expected to be done in December in time for the new school year which starts in January!
In a recent conversation with the principal of the school he said, "Every morning I walk into school the first thing I do is go to straight to the building and smile and say thanks to God for these wonderful people who remembered this vulnerable school. My dream for this school is to fight for it to be modern and among the best school in Livingstone in terms of infrastructure and academic achievement."
Thank you for changing the lives of so many children and families in Livingstone!
