Construction of a giant rainwater harvester
Dear Friend,
Warmest greetings and thank you very much for your support to our project providing decent sanitation and food security for poor communities here. This project is gaining traction as we are one of the acknowledge expert in this field. Our repertoire of technologies include low cost, decent latrines, communal hand-wash and giant ferro-cement rainwater harvesters. Our rainwater harvesters is very much needed in areas where there is no supply of water and where rain is abundant. This reporting period we are able to build one 10,000-liter capacity rainwater harvester in an upland community comprising mostly very poor farmers. Their feedback is that they are very happy because they have a direct water source rather than going to the creek in order to fetch water. This project is benefiting a total of 75 families.
Hoping for your continuing support to our initiative.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario

training farmers
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our project providing sanitation and food security for poor, marginal farmers. This reporting period, we conducted field trainings for local farmers in Manticao Municipality on how to grow short-term vegetables that they will be able to harvest in 1-2 months time. Manticao is hilly and most of small farmers have piece of land by which they will be able to grow different type of vegetables. The only problem is that they lack practical knowledge and starter vegetable seeds by which to start their gardening activities. Aside from the practical aspect of vegetable growing, we also included in the lessons how to make their own organic fertilizer which they will be able to use so that their plants will be healthy. A total of 12 families were trained this way and provided with vegetable seed packets comprising tomato, eggplant, cucumber, squash and bitter gourd.
Again thank you very much for your support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario Sayre

Children benefit the most
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food via vegetable gardening and safe sanitation by building low-cost, durable and aspirational toilets for the poorest of the poor. This project is indeed very important for farming families because they are able to have nutritious food from their gardens and with their toilets, water-borne diseases is prevented. This reporting period we are able to build 12 latrines with the help also of local supporters. We observe that children and women benefits the most from this initiative as access to latrines is no longer difficult for them.
Again thank you very much for your kind help.
Very sincerely yours,
Cesario
