What does it take to change your future in just a few months?

For the 34 young people who just completed the latest edition of IntegrarTEC, the answer is: grit, determination, and more than 140 hours of intensive training in modern tech tools and mindsets.

After months of dedication, 75% of those who started the course completed it and passed every evaluation. They wrapped up a demanding and transformative journey across seven modules, from JavaScript and React to database design, DevOps, and full-stack development with Next.js. But this wasn’t just about learning to code; throughout the course, participants also gained the soft skills needed to enter a fast-moving job market.

Behind every success was the dedicated teachers and mentors from Fundación Integrar, who provided ongoing support, guidance, and encouragement.

Who Are Our Graduates?

They’re young people from working-class families, many of whom are the first in their households to access professional-level training. Their parents work in construction, sewing, education, caregiving, retail, maintenance, delivery services, small shops, or family-run microbusinesses.

This group includes 40% women, a meaningful step toward our mission to open doors for more female talent in STEM fields.

Nearly a quarter of the graduates live in the City of Buenos Aires, while the rest come from suburban areas across Greater Buenos Aires, including Moreno, La Matanza, and Quilmes. Many of them live in informal settlements.

Final Projects – Code That Matters

In the last week of the program, students presented their final capstone projects, which involved building a fully functional web application from scratch -frontend and backend-  simulating a real-world team development process.

With guidance from both faculty and tech-sector volunteer mentors, the students delivered projects of high technical quality and creative vision. Standouts included:

  • A long-distance travel booking platform
  • A CRM for sales teams
  • A web platform for inclusive sex education (ESI)
  • A gamified personal finance app
  • A donation platform for nonprofits

These weren’t just “student projects”; they were real products with real-world potential.

Meet Esteban – 24, from Florencio Varela

“I come from a very humble family where education always felt far away. My parents didn’t finish school, not even primary. Today I can show them that education is the most powerful tool we have to move forward in life.”

Esteban lives with his mom, a caregiver, and his brothers, who work in construction.

“For me, IntegrarTEC was a chance to learn, to gain skills that truly matter in the job market. That motivates me to keep growing and go after the job I’ve been dreaming of.”

What Comes Next?

Our goal now is to support these graduates as they move toward their first tech job.
We know the economy is tough, but our graduates are tougher.

With your continued support, we’re not just helping students finish a course.
We’re helping them start a career.

Thank you for being part of this journey: one story, one student, one future at a time.
