When last we communicated with you, SevaChild was on the verge of commencing drilling for the 33 clean-water wells for which we had raised funding through September, 2024.

As mentioned in the past, the rural villagers who will benefit from the clean, safe water acquired from these deep well sources have been suffering under the dangerous and challenging burden of attempting to secure water from seriously-contaminated ponds shared with wild animals -- and many have paid with their very lives.

SevaChild is intent on eradicating the hazards and obstacles faced by India's rural and tribal populations, and potable water is an excellent place to begin. With the completion of the aforementioned 33 wells, it's ever onward and upward: at the present time, we have the financial wherewithal to embark upon the next group of 20 wells! Thus far, SevaChild has drilled and made operational 117 wells in some of the most at-risk communities in rural India! A well costs $1950 to construct; as completed, it features a pump, cement platform, and a floodlight to ward off uninvited nighttime predators.

SevaChild's wildly successful well-drilling project continues to blossom!

Since we last wrote to you, we have raised enough funding to drill another 35 wells in some of India's poorest and most remote communities.  And now that the monsoon season is over, drilling will continue in earnest and all of those 35 wells will be operational prior to the end of the year.
