Let's Stand Against Poaching Yemeni Tigers

By Ahmed Al-Qadhi | Project Leader

Dear GlobalGiving Donors and Supporters,

Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team would like to thank you for your continuous support to the Rescue and Save Rare Yemeni Tiger from Extinction  Project. We could notice clearly that the impact of your donations is making a big difference regarding Yemeni tigers and how to protect them from extinction. Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team conducted several activities in Bani Qais and other governorates as:

- Mosque preachers dedicated their speeches to the importance of Yemeni tigers and the dangers of poaching them.

- Visits to Sana’a and Taiz zoos and distributing food and medicine for tigers.

- Continue the awareness-raising campaigns about the importance of these creatures.

- Distributing flyers and posters in markets, schools, and mosques.

STORY OF SUCCESS

Ammar used to be a poacher who tried to gain money from killing tigers and selling their leather. After attending Support Yemeni Society Organization’s Team awareness-raising sessions in Bani Qais, he became one of the defenders of Yemeni tigers. Nowadays, Ammar travels in nearby villages to raise people’s awareness about the importance of Yemeni tigers. He also volunteers to guard the nature reserve in Bani Qais.

Dear Generous Donors,

We are planning to conduct campaigns about Yemeni tigers and how to protect them from extinction. It is only with your support we can achieve our goals.

Dear Generous Donors,

To achieve that noble purpose, we warmly invite you to start a Monthly Donation. Tell your family and friends that together, we have the power to provide stability for Rare Yemeni Tigers.

Warmest Regards.

Yours,

Ahmed Al-Qadhi
