Thanks to donors like you, Wells Bring Hope was able to deliver safe water to over 50,000 people in West Africa in 2025. We did that in the form of 35 taps installed in rural communities in Niger and Mali and three complete mechanized water systems for health clinics in Mali.
The village taps will provide safe water to everyone in the community, eliminating the need for women and girls to spend hours every day walking miles to collect water that is often contaminated. Unlike laborious hand pump well, these mechanized water systems make it easy for people of any age or ability to collect water.
The water systems we provided for rural health clinics delivered running water to treatment and exam rooms, allowing health care providers to follow hygiene protocols and deliver greatly improved care. In addition, each clinic water system includes a tap stand in the clinic courtyard that provides safe water to all in the surrounding community.
Access to clean, safe water is a fundamental human right, and your support made it possible to deliver that essential right to more than 50,000 people last year. Thank you, as always, for your compassion in action!
