CHHASE come across many such cases, We rescue them, treat them and advice them to lodge complaints. But there are many of them do not want to file case because of their fear about the criminals back ground. Few cases went to police stations but in the early stage itself it compromise by police authorities by paying a small amount for his offence. At present 10 of such cases are in court and hearing will going on for years and it will pull on for many more years.
One of our victim, whose case was solved with compensation Said” Because of CHHASE NGO, I filed case in police station and it went to court. Since the criminal is from reputed family approached CHHASE to get it closed by giving compensation. Since the amount was good, I agreed for it and we took letter from criminal that in future he will not disturb me and the act was happened due to liquor. CHHASE asked me for opinion and I said it is good since it will not be known to public and my dignity is saved.
With this money, I opened a provision store and now a good amount I am getting as income from it. After two years of this provision business, CHHASE approached my parents and me for marriage to some one they know with good character.Now the marriage talks are going on. Before my marriage, I will send you invitation to attend my marriage.”
