Over view
The Send Them Back to School project was initiated with the vision of restoring hope and opportunity to underprivileged children by ensuring they remain in school despite financial hardships. Education is a powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty, and through this initiative, we aim to invest in the future of vulnerable children within our community.
Although funding for the project remains limited, we are proud to report meaningful progress. Through the generosity of our supporters and careful allocation of available resources, we successfully paid school fees for four children who were at risk of dropping out due to financial constraints.
Beneficiaries Supported
Primary School Level:
Uwumugisha Joshua
Uwubugingo Caleb
These two young learners are in primary school, a foundational stage where literacy, numeracy, and character development are built. Supporting them at this level ensures they continue to develop essential skills that will shape their academic journey.
Secondary School Level:
Irihafi Nyiraguhirwa – Senior Five
Uwihoreye Stella – Senior Two
At the secondary level, the financial demands are even greater, yet this stage is critical in preparing students for higher education and future careers. Irihafi Nyiraguhirwa, currently in Senior Five, is approaching the final stages of advanced-level education, while Uwihoreye Stella in Senior Two is steadily progressing toward completing her ordinary-level studies. By supporting them, we are safeguarding years of prior investment in their education and protecting their dreams of a brighter future.
Impact of the Support
The payment of school fees has:
Beyond financial relief, this support sends a powerful message to the beneficiaries: they are valued, believed in, and supported by a caring community.
Challenges
Despite these achievements, the project continues to face financial limitations. Many other children remain in need of similar support. The demand far outweighs the currently available resources, and sustained funding is necessary to maintain and expand the initiative.
Call for Support
We therefore humbly encourage our donors, partners, and well-wishers to continue supporting this noble cause. Investing in education is not merely covering school fees—it is building responsible citizens, empowering future leaders, and transforming communities.
Every contribution, regardless of size, makes a significant difference. Together, we can expand the reach of Send Them Back to School and ensure that no child is denied education due to poverty.
Education is a long-term investment, and by supporting underprivileged children today, we are shaping a brighter and more sustainable tomorrow
